Abstract

This article discusses the concept of audiovisual media and audiovisual texts, elaborates on their role and meaning for the development of audiovisual skills. Furthermore, it considers the peculiarities of the TV spots, one of the kinds of audiovisual media texts, and its design in the light of learning of foreign languages.
