Blog-technology integration into the foreign languages teaching process.

Abstract

The article deals with the blog-technology implementation into the educational process and examines the integration of blogs into the second language teacher education process with the aim of evaluating its effectiveness. Possibilities of use blog technologies for the educational purposes, kinds and categories of use the blog Internet resources with students are considered in the article. The educational purpose of this technology is to form and master language skills and knowledge.  Main types, characteristics, educational functions and objectives are defined. .The detailed description of such educational blog types as a tutor blog, a learner blog and a group blog is presented since these types are considered to be the most effective ones for language study among all other types of blogs. There are also some practical recommendations for the blog-technology implementation into the language learning process in class. The recommendations are based on the personal author experience which was gained while English language teaching at technical university. The author considers that blog technology for educational purposes is proved. First, use of the technology in teaching foreign language allows to reach certain level of the competence speaking another language during studying, secondly, to improve the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in the subsequent professional work.
